Model: Silver Face Champ, Brinsley-Mod … this Silver Face Champ was modified by Brinsley Schwarz at Chandler Guitars to incorporate an alternative control layout:
The ‘Volume’ control is now a ‘gain’ control/input volume
‘Treble’ control becomes master tone control
‘Bass’ control becomes master volume
The above configuration enables the player to coax the amp into a dynamic, touch sensitive drive tone much like the ‘pushed’ sound of Fender’s earlier tweed amps or keep things clean yet full
Single channel portable all valve 6w combo with 1×8 speaker, internal components professionally modified by Brinsley Schwarz
