As many of you know, when I’m not grafting on guitars or treading the boards I’m often found running the leafy streets and parks of Surrey. On May 29th I’ll be going to Edinburgh to run my 7th marathon. I have a family member living with focal seizures, a type of epilepsy. I will be fundraising for Epilepsy Research UK.

Several levels of guitar set-up are available in our workshop, from basic adjustment to our legendary Plek set-up and then on to our re-fretting service, if more major work is required.
We work on all guitars including acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, classical guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, arch top guitars, dobro guitars and many more.

Splits, cracks, head-breaks, flood damage, ‘domestic’ damage, we’ve seen it all!
Almost anything is fixable. Drop your guitar in for an intonation assessment if you’re having tuning problems – often these can be rectified with a basic set-up.
Nut replacement – £60.
Standard setup – £60 + cost of strings.
Re-frets – approx. £300 – £370 depending on the guitar, fretboard material and fretwire used.
Plek fret dress – £150 + cost of strings.
