1980 Model. This guitar is owned by Micky Moody, one of the original guitarist from Whitesnake who has gone on to have an illustrious career as a guitarist. When touring in Japan in 1980, Micky was invited to the Ibanez factory where he selected this guitar. Micky asked if the last fret inlay could instead have his name on it and the Ibanez staff kindly obliged, making this guitar a true one off. This story appears in Micky Moody’s biography entitled ‘Snakes and Ladders’.
