Gibson Les Paul Classic Premium Plus, circa 1997
All original, no changes.
This is a relatively hard to find version of the ever-evolving Classic, sporting a Triple-A grade flame maple top (designated at the time as a ‘Premium Plus’) which, while not book matched, is close to symmetrical, very unusual on a production Gibson of the period and a feature not readily available on the current Classic model.
Original Gibson hardcase included, along with the pickguard, which has remained in the case as the owner wanted to retain the integrity of the guitar’s flame top.
