Very good condition 40th Anniversary Strat
Built in 1993 and released in ’94 to commemorate 40 years since the Stratocaster’s introduction
All original save for the following:
Bridge pickup has been swapped out for a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails – a great match and a popular mod throughout the 90s
Original white black white guard has been replaced with a 3 ply tortoiseshell pickguard
Non-original contemporary hard case
Frets are in excellent condition, if you look very closely, the tiniest amount of wear can be detected on a couple of frets but this is absolutely minimal and playabililty remains unaffected.
Spec-wise you get:
22 medium jumbo fret 9.5″ rosewood board, on a modern satin finished C-shaped maple neck
Poplar body – as per many opaque finish Fenders of the time poplar was a preferred option during this period
Finish is in excellent condition with just one superficial lacquer crack on the bass side of the neck pocket as pictured
